Another new experience, hashing on Guam. An excellent night time trail through the back streets and alleyways of Tamuning. Trail was pretty tricky, with many backward twists and little cut throughs along fences, and up into and out of parking garages. Circle on the beach, with a camp fire, and lots of fun entertainment. Highest peak on Guam! Also boasts that because it starts from the Mariana Trench, it is ACTUALLY the largest mountain in the world! But super easy climb! The best part was all the butterflies! It was like being in a butterfly house, I tried to video but they are too fast for me! Afterwards of course we hit up a pirate bar! But the hotwings needed more heat and the server brought us six different flavors! We are now best friends 🤣🤣! On to the next adventure!Read more

Aloha!! Just a 30 minute flight over and I am so stoked! Haz has friends over here and the trails look similar to Guam! Soooo big week ahead I am diving tomorrow (captains choice) with axemurder tours!! Love the name! And then a hash Friday AND Saturday and we were invited for another hike on Sunday! Update: Flights cancelled. Two more days on Guam, new hotel, extended rental car. Also booked hotel in Bali. Have rebooked our flights, now through Taipei, and Kuala Lumpur, and will get to Bali on Thursday afternoon (instead of midnight on Friday). Back on track for our Saturday departure to Dili.

Previously . . . Well, we were supposed to be flying to Manila today, but the airport has been closed due to the Taal Volcano eruption. Our auto-rescheduled flight was set as one week (19 Jan), but we were already due to depart Manila on the 17th, so that's a no go if we want to make our next flight to Dili. Hier trennt sich mein Weg mit Alex und Michael, die Beiden bleiben noch zwei Tage auf Guam und ich steige in den Flieger nach Shanghai.

Für mich war es eine starke Zeit mit den Münchnern auf der SY NONO, Tauchen gelernt, für jeden Spass und Abenteuer zu haben und als Dolmetscher in den weiten der Ozean-Archipele immer Top, vielleicht sehen wir uns mal wieder auf einer anderen Expedition.Read more

We rented a car and drove Guam today. Gorgeous! It’s like an impoverished chilled out Hawaii. Not only did they also have chickens everywhere but cows on leashes in yards and random packs of wild dogs. Serene private beaches! I’m downloading some pics before I lose service and I’ll update with a more detailed post when I have service next. Next stop, Malaysia!
