Freitagabend - nochmal zum großen Platz

Eigentlich wollten wir heute Abend das berühmte private Musikinstrumente-Museum im armenischen Viertel besuchen. Aber die Website funktioniert nicht und das Telefon wird nicht abgenommen. Und heute ist sowas wie Sonn-und Feiertag auf einmal. Möglicherweise hat es auch die Pandemie mangels Besucher nicht überlebt 😥. Aber wir probieren es schon noch auf gut Glück!

Auf dem Großen Platz gibt es auch noch mehr zu sehen! Wir sind soo langsam, auch schnell erschöpft. Und zu jedem netten Schwatz bereit, während wir schlendern oder auf der Parkbank ausruhen. Es gibt viele ehrlich offene Menschen hier - egal ob die etwas naiven gläubigen Mädchen ohne Englisch oder der hochgebildete Teppichhändler mit perfektem Deutsch. Oder der frisch verheiratete Aufschneider mit der aufgespritzten blondierten Frau auf dem Motorroller, angeblich auf dem Sprung nach Australien und bei Reichs und Schöns zuhause... alle wollen unverbindlich freundlich mit uns plaudern. Wir fühlen uns angenommen und wohl 😊.

Allerdings essen wir bislang weitaus mehr, als wir verbrauchen können - hoffentlich passen die Klamotten in 4 Wochen auch noch halbwegs!

Actually, we wanted to visit the famous private musical instrument museum in the Armenian quarter tonight. But the website is not working and the phone is not answered. And today is something like Sunday and holiday at the same time. It may not have survived the pandemic due to a lack of visitors 😥. But we're still trying to be lucky!

There is also more to see in the Great Square! We are soo slow, also quickly exhausted. And ready for any nice chat while we stroll or relax on the park bench. There are many honestly open people here - regardless of whether it's the somewhat naive, religious girl without English or the highly educated carpet dealer with perfect German. Or the newly married braggart with the spray-on bleached woman on the motor scooter, supposedly on his way to Australia and at home with the rich and beautiful... everyone wants to have a friendly chat with us without obligation. We feel accepted and comfortable 😊.

However, so far we have been eating far more than we can use up - hopefully the clothes will still fit halfway in 4 weeks!Read more
