    Such Fine Sight to See

    The trip back into AZ was filled with AZ touristy things. First thing was Winslow and THE corner. Had to go and snap a few pics. We hadn’t realized that Jackson Browne and Glenn Frey co-Write Take it Easy. So the 2 different statues are of the both of them. Next, Meteor Crater. More space geeky stuff was great as well learned all about it. AZ, itself is pretty familiar to us. We’ll spend a few with family and head north to home and back into the weather I like. 🌧️😊Leer más

    We are spending time with family in Lake Havasu City and it is HOT. The one fun thing that happens is we get to see our nephew, Keegan. He lives in New River, but is here because he bought a plane. He’s here to pick it up.Leer más

    All roads lead to home.

    The vacay is done and we are on the last stretch home. One stop to visit Paul’s cousin and his wife and then home on Friday. It’s been a great trip and we made lots of memories. I’ll wrap it up when we get back, but for now, I’ll just enjoy heading north, leaving the desert and embracing the trees.Leer más

    Back where we belong

    Traveling is awesome! We love it and will continue to explore. But…when you get back to familiar rhythms and scenery, menus where you know all the foods, cities you can pronounce, temperatures your body thrives in and settings where your body just sighs, “ahhhh” and relaxes, the place you’re meant to be is awesome, too. We got to Mt. Shasta and exhaled. We’re back to big trees, blue skies, sparkling, crystal clear waters and the fresh smell of the forest we love so much. Home in two days. We will spend the next couple days reflecting on this trip and when we get home, we’ll make short term summer campsite reservations and start planning for the next trip.Leer más
