Found a lovely secluded campsite about 800m off the Diamantina Developmental Rd on the outskirts of Boulia. There were hundreds of eagles and galahs circling overhead as we weren’t far from the Czytaj więcej

The country changes within a few kilometres - from dry dirt to rich green grass and trees illustrating where the water from up north travels through this region.
Simpson Desert

Planet Arrabury Rd

Turned off the Diamantina Dev Rd on to the Birdsville Dev Rd for 54kms at which point we turned due south towards Tibooburra on the Planet Arrabury Rd. Quite a few cars heading north from Birdsville Czytaj więcej

We often came across cattle on the road, but today it was crazy! Hundreds of cattle running up the road so that we had to move off the road as they wouldn’t budge!

We stayed at Inverell last night, it was very cold, so we put up the gazebo and plugged in our little fan heater.
Leaving Inverell onto the Guyra Rd, stopped at Guyra Bakery for an early lunch.
