We had a great stop in a roadside local restaurant which was serving food in a plastic bag. The food was good and fresh. Great change after all the BBQ ribs and briskets. We were driving with this rental car which Ian hired.Les mer

This was shocking to see how many police are controlling crime in this city. Literally on each corner of the street. It is one of the most dangerous cities in the USA but it is beautiful town again it is such a shame. Best thing was to find this sign.Les mer

The big aeroplane was used for tours. He bought it for 200 000 and redone the interior to his taste and needs for another 800 000. Unbelievable.

On booking.com it had quite good reviews but it wasn't great. We didn't feel comfortable at all.

This was a very sad story. The guy who built this mansion died week after it was completed. Lots of his family died a few years after the civil war and then the house got burned down in 1890 not even 30 years after it was built. It had 26 bedrooms, probably similar to the one we stayed at at the end of this trip.Les mer

People living on top of the river would sell their goods in Natchez. They would sail down there and sell their boat as well as goods and they would then walk back home. These houses would be every 10-15miles and be used as hostels. They would get dinner there and ones who would not have money would sleep under the house overnight. Slavers would love there as well they would work on fields.Les mer

Walk around Frenchmen street. Which I think had older buildings more traditional than west of the French quarter. Apparently that is also the place where locals go as they do not go to the touristy Bourbon street. Houses are beautiful all it is destroying is some of the individuals who are constantly pudling around. It is so sad. Also the bar I took video of isn't actually there it is on the west side of the French quarter but it's a bar in the shape of a cyrcle which is rotating. Quite cool.Les mer

Walk to the oyster restaurant where we had oysters raw and grilled . Service was rubbish but the oysters were delicious especially the grilled ones. We had to queue to get in. Vecerni cesta do oyster restaurace. Obsluha strasna a pomala ale oysters byly vynikajici. Abychom SE dostali dovnitr museli jsme cekat frontu Jako v americkejch filmech.Les mer
