GRU - Brazil here I come

Oh yes. It was, a lot.
After travelling for 63 hours straight I feel, a sense of relief that a baby has when it goes back to sleep.
-11th November
07:00 Wake up in altamura. wash, clean and finish packing
08:00 go by the “Forno”, bakery. Pick up the bread
08:30 say last goodbyes and drive to the next gas station to fuel the rental I had
09:30 Droping off the rental, and checked out for everything
10:00 Successful Check in
11:15 Departure for FCO
12:45 Arrival in FCO - Rome; Waiting for the next flight
16:10 Missed my boarding…
16:50 Realising my mystake…
17:00 Panicking, talking to the hostess: No possible flights on this day with the same airline
17:10 found another flight with easyjet
17:20 trying to get my luggage, after being told it cant be retrieved
17:30 heated argument in italian. Hostess: a hang on, it will come out in 5 min
17:35 got my luggage…
18:00 dropp off luggage, again.
19:40 this time I was in the flight and headed to ZRH - Home
21:20 made it back in ZRH
21:40 pick up by my parents 🫶🏻
22:00 was at home, destroyed. Had to wash some stuff (Thanks mum for helping, you the best)
23:30 went to sleep
-12th november
09:00 woke up, started to pack my last final things
11:00 finished with everything
14:00 had to do some business until this time, finishing everything off
15:30 departure back to the airport
15:45 Back at ZRH
16:15 Successful check in and baggage drop off. Amazing!
17:00 Hanging out at the airport
17:15 Control was super fast today!
18:30 And departure to Madrid
21:00 Arrival in MAD. Shoutout to Karime! Amazing person, three hours flight felt like 20min. Talked throughout about, Ai, finance, Bubble, Adventure, Destinations, Texas, ICE and the World.
21:15 got myself some fries from BK
22:20 Was on the phone with two best buddies from zurich
23:55 And finally boarding.. for another great adventure!
10hours and 30minutes. this is how long its going to take me to get me on the other side of the equator.
Fortunately enough I slept most of it through, like 7-8hours through. That was nice, couldn’t even finish watching a movie.
-13th november
06:30 Arrival in the morning, with 5hours difference from Zurich
07:00 For the most of it I remember picking up my Backpack and thats it. I had to wait until my flight in the afternoon
08:00 went for a search of a SIM Card, that was hectic. Nobody was really helpful. Until I arrived at this dingy small phone shop. 60€ for a 20 Days Unlimited internet package? For real? yeah unfortunately I got scammed, but what do you do if your in desperate need of a SIM Card and can’t afford to wait for a better option.
09:00 First attempt to drop off my heavy Backpack, had to go back in line.. and wait for the 4h before departure baggage dropoff.
10:00 talked to my mom.
11:30 Finally dropped my bag
12:00 got myself checked in!
13:00 Got to sleep an hour on bench.
13:30 Ate at TGI Friday, had a blast in culinary Meats!
15:00 Was boarding for the flight, had the whole row for myself
15:50 was take off!
16:45 Finally arrived at the destination I planned to go. Bonito!
17:00 Baggage pick up was quite interesting… Who’s is this? and this baggage? and this backpack? oh this is mine!
17:10 charted a taxi an went to my hostel
17:30 checked myself in the hostel and was ready to…. Sleep, I was dead tired. But didn’t get much sleep that afternoon, went straight to my friends place.
