Broome Day 4

A good walk along cable beach this morning, followed by a visit to entrance point, and Willie Creek pearl farm.
Unfortunately fishing cancelled due to wind. ( not mine!)

Had a good look around Gantheaume Point & Beach, as well as the lighthouse. A couple of massive Osprey nests in the lighthouse infrastructure. Town beach and the Broome jetty
Today was Broome market day, a look at Cable beach, some shopping to restock, a visit to Bunnings for a couple of maintenance jobs, and a quick beer at the Spinifex Brewery. Finished off with a BBQLeggi altro
Arrived at Broome and set up for the week. Plenty of washing done and a good clean up. Not many pics but should have some good ones in the next week.

Trevor & I caught one each, then a herd of massive dolphins chased them off..🐬🐬🐬
Left Port Hedland today for the quick 250km trip through Pardoo and into eighty mile beach .
A nice spot and hopefully some good fishing over the next few days.
Had a good look around the beach and Port here. It was ok.
Got a bargain on some recovery tracks at the Emporium here. It's a great shop!
Went to a Kangaroo rescue centre that was pretty cool.

Drive up from Karijini NP to Port Hedland. A lot of road trains ( 4 dogs and 200 tones), but the UHF radio coms with the drivers made for easy passing. Massive road trains carrying iron ore, andLeggi altro
Gorged ourselves on gorges today, hitting Dale's, Joffre and Knox Gorges.
The best was Dale's, with 6.8km of class 4 & 5 hiking through cliffs, waterholes and almost temperate forest .

Moved into the NP site at Karijini. The free camp yesterday was better!
Went out to Hammersly Gorge and hiked to the rock pool, and lookout.
Not very far, but very steep!
