Enjoying the beach instead of snorkelling since I was feeling sick

Also the oddest thing happened where a couple passed me their baby so they could snap some photos. I thought they just wanted me to help them take family photos, but ended up holding a baby for a couple of minutes. Ended up being a very peculiar sight for my friends when they returned to the beach 😬Read more

This was a pretty cool place that allowed us to be up close with the elephants - also ethical. A wonderful experience!

We also got to learn about rubber making, fresh coconut milk, and Thai cooking, while watching some of the elephants roam about 🥰

Retail therapy

After a mess of an agreement with our driver/his boss, we ended up shopping as a form of retail therapy. Bought so much snacks. My friend even ended up buying a luggage just to stuff it all in (and well, she wanted one too anyway).

Went for an early dinner before heading to the airport.

End of trip

And we're at the end of our trip. Honestly I was glad to be home cos half of it was just awful being sick, and not being sure what the cause was 🥲

Thankful for my friends' patience with me during this time, and their concern and looking out for me too. Wouldn't know what I would have done if I were alone for this.

And to end the trip, my friend's baggage got taken by someone else and we were waiting for half an hour, trying to get help to locate it. Thankfully the guy realized and came back to change it back. Though that was frustrating and we were all wrecked and tired already. But just thankful it all came to an end.Read more
