Ireland and Spain 2025

Today was our last full day in Ennistymon, and we stayed local. We did a very pleasant walk along the river and backroads passing an old once Anglican Church but now a Catholic Cemetry. It was a beautiful sunny day, and after the walk, we headed for Lahinch and braved 2 swims in the rather cold but refreshing water. Pictures will show you that the beach is very different from what we are used to. 😯 . In the early evening, a friend of Mickeys cousin took us for a lovely evening stroll through the holiday town of Liscannor. Some beautiful rock pools to swim in next time. The meal ended with delicious (and too much) pub grub. Mickey and I opted for bangers and mash, and Mike had the traditional bacon, cabbage, and mash dish. Czytaj więcej
