We wandered to Dam Square, had a delicious lunch of soup and a pancake topped with bacon and cheese! We tasted Gouda cheese in a cheese shop, then taxied back to our hotel.

We sat inside at first, then ended up outside on the back deck for more pictures. It was an enjoyable tour.

We had a fascinating tour of a working windmill.

Keep in mind, the person running the mill lived there with his family. Here bread was baked for the milling community.

An unforgettable mid-evil, baroque town. The houses were all exposed timber. The bishop said if you plaster and paint your home, you would get a tax break. "If it's not baroque, fix it!"
