We wandered to Dam Square, had a delicious lunch of soup and a pancake topped with bacon and cheese! We tasted Gouda cheese in a cheese shop, then taxied back to our hotel.

We had a fascinating tour of a working windmill.

Keep in mind, the person running the mill lived there with his family. Here bread was baked for the milling community.

This is where the miller turned the direction of the mill. The top part holding the paddles rotates to align with the wind stream.

This painting was completed in thirteen days! It is painted in such a way that it feels like a dome overhead, but it's an illusion. It is flat. Amazing!
