Stopped here at the nrma park there was a site hog next to who would not shift his car …. After we sorted that out had a great stay raffles at the bowling and walks in the bush

3 nights here ate out at the pub and julie won the mothers day prize pack. Wet couple of days with wet pack up. Took the Isuzu 4wd in deepwater park. Had our little fire going under Michael’s awning.

Stayed at beachfront park great spot right on beach. Julies tooth bad 1st trip to dentist.
Walk on beach, coffee at Yeppoon lagoon. Michael and I on e scooters to marina and back
Discovery park Mackay

Mackay bit boring Julies tooth sore went to caravan show on the Sunday, liked the musketeer recliner but $106k. Got fish and chips 1 night. Blue lagoon next to park had lot of bird life. Found Czytaj więcej

Split rock aboriginal art, Larua for morning tea publican taken by crocodile recently. Bridge to nowhere, railway bridge built but never used.

Arrived into town quick look around and lunch for eco tour at 12pm saw 5 estuarine crocs 1 @ 4.2 metres called fluffy. Azure kingfisher and jabiru sighted. Power this night and nice grassy site. Had Czytaj więcej

Short trip to Beautiful lush and green camp site. Julie went for lagoon walk great hamburger with the lot for tea. Collected firewood for big fire tonight. Wet pack up next day and on to Elliot falls.

Okay today we left Bramwell station and went down to Batavia goldfields and had some lunch there saw several snakes on the road and we believe them to be the coastal taipan which has three toxins and Czytaj więcej
