Daintree Rainsforest

In the end of september we spent a few days in the Daintree Rainforest. The oldest rainforest in the world. It‘s a whopping 180 million (!) years old.

After sleeping at a beautiful and quiet campingplace with a huge lake we did a literal short trip to Kuranda to visit Barron Falls. When we arrived at the lookout we saw a huge lizard crawling aroundBaca lagi

This morning we travelled two cities further in the Blue Mountains to have a look at the Wentworth Falls. Unfortunately we couldn‘t stay long because we wanted to travel north. In the north it isBaca lagi
Today we did a 6 hour hike to the „Ruined Castle“
which is a rock formation in the middle of the rainforest of the Blue Mountains.

Oh, but we drove the ferry ⛴
Weeell, today we drove to Bondi Beach again but today we did the Coastal Walk to Coogee Beach.
It‘s a route along the cliffs which is 6km long.
Normally, this hike would take about an hour but itBaca lagi
Today, we decided to take a look at the famous Sydney Opera and the Harbour Bridge. We spent the day in the Royal Botanic Garden and ended our day at Hard Rock Café.
