2 weeks before departure

Hi Everybody,

It is officially two weeks before I leave for Ghana! Nearly everything is sorted out, I say nearly I just have all my medical stuff to buy and also my travel insurance! I have summer clothes on order as I can not find anything in the shops anywhere.... Sooo Annoying!

I have received my Itinery though the post on Friday...

I will be based in a Town called Banko which is in Effiduasi near Kumasi!
I'm Teaching English and Maths in a School Called Banko Community Secondary School, where only 50km away I will be living with a family of 6 with 4 Children aged 4-15.

I will have the weekends to travel around Ghana and hopefully meet up with the other volunteers, and then at the end of my placement on the 12th December I will have 10 days travelling seeing the rest of the country before returning home for Christmas on the 23rd December!
