Caught the train from Blair Atholl this morning to Edinburgh. The trip went quickly because we chatted with a very interesting fellow who is English but now lives in Scotland.
Even though it was drizzling when we arrived, our first impression of Edinburgh was ‘WOW!’ Our hotel is vey close to the station and just a stone’s throw from the Old Town. We did a fair bit of sightseeing before having a pizza dinner, then back to the hotel for a game of Scrabble. We played in an area on our 7th floor, overlooking the city. Perfect!Read more
