Early start with a 3:45 pick up. No queues at check in and fairly quick through security. Joined the other 20 odd people scheduled for our flight to Pisa. Well it wasn't bad news for us, as we got a free upgrade to extra leg room as long as we moved to the emergency exit. 😁😁👍👍👍
15 minutes after arriving at Pisa and seeing our bags already on the carousel belt we met up with Greg and Patti arriving from Florida via London. Hire car sorted and we are off to the villa on the other side of Lucca. Crazy drive through though as there is a comic and gamer festival going on so numerous roads closed and cars parked all over. Glad to be through only to receive a text from Joanne and Marylin "no taxis available could we pick them up from the train station". So back into Lucca we headed.....
Finally back on the road to the villa only to arrive at the wrong address but what a beautiful view. Arriving at the correct address, just had time to unload the car before Greg and Keith set off back (through Lucca) to Pisa airport to pick up Greg's sister Jill and her husband Tim. Supplies bought and Steve,Dorothy, Dan and Lisa located we all arrived at the villa to settle down to pizza and wine by candlelight......as the power cut out !! 🤣 🍽🍕🍷x 12 people 🇬🇧🇮🇹🇺🇸Leer más
