Um nicht zu lange warten zu müssen, kaufen wir im voraus Online Tickets für die Christusstatue. Die 30 Meter hohe Statue stammt aus dem Jahre 1931. Die Statue ist 30 Meter hoch und steht auf einem acht Meter hohen Sockel. Das Ticket kostete etwa 33 € pro Person. Trotzdem stehen auch wir am Schalter und am Bahnsteig der Zahnradbahn an. Nach etwa einer Stunde sind wir oben und erkämpfen uns einen Blick nach unten. Es ist ziemlich voll hier, alle 3 Minuten kommt ein neuer Ausflugshubschrauber vorbeigeflogen. Mit der Zahnradbahn geht's wieder zurück.
Tickets zur Statue sind mit Datum und Uhrzeit festgelegt. Vorher unbedingt den Wetterbericht anschauen.
