Himeji castle is one of the most impressive historic castles left in Japan.
It is really hard to grasp the scale of this castle, it is absolutely massive and towers above the city of Himeji.

Hiroshima castle was faithfully restored in the 1950s after the original was destroyed by the bombing of Hiroshima.

This tiny little island holds a rest stop in the middle of Seto Ohashi bridge.
This bridge network is a testament of Japanese engineering and is 10kms long and connects Shikoku to Honshu.
