Exploring the World

We headed up a curvy road to the boarder of Chile and Argentina. We stopped at a small booth and they gave us a little piece of scrap paper with our license plate and the number 3 for 3 people and we kept on driving. We ate at a small place on the way. After driving for awhile we pulled up to a guy blocking the road and we gave him our little scrap paper. He explained that we needed to have stamps on it and we would have to go back 16 km to the boarder control center to get the stamps. We made our way back and got the first stamp without a problem. The second stamp we had more problems with. Even though our car was new and we had all the paperwork we needed the registration wasn’t showing up in the system yet. I went upstairs to talk to the boss lady and she said there was nothing we could do to leave so we wouldn’t be leaving Chile today. We decided to try again anyway with only 1 stamp. We got to the guard in the road and he explained that we needed more stamps and we would be arrested if we tried to pass. We turned around and decided what to do next.
