Drove through Kansas to Topeeka Just some rest stops along the way. Pretty flat for sure but saw lots of horses and even buffalo. We live in such a beautiful country 🥰
PengembaraMade it through a lot of “Greenlights” by Mathew McConaughey on this stretch. Toward the end of the day, I noticed Oliver had captured a bunch of takeaways that he felt had meaning and it was inspiring to see, and even more fun as he shared some. Very inspired and excited to see him grow and mature.
Pengembaraaww ❤️ that's so very beautiful. I think that's maybe the best part of this kind of trip... the otherwise seemingly absent possibilities for long stretches of allowing the mind to wander and wonder.

Made it to Branson MO, little hot and a little humid, but nice breeze at the campground. Found some roadside BBQ for lunch, not bad, but sure better to come.

Blue Ridge Parkway

Beautiful drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Ended up in Damascus VA which the Appalachian Trail runs right through town along a brick sidewalk.
PengembaraYeah it was warm and windy and the clouds were really amazing rolling over the ridge. One of my favorite parts of the trip so far.

Waves were small but still got some body surfing in with the boys. Water was warm compared to Oregon for sure.
