Day 7 - Santiago de Compostela

Today was supposed to be a day of rest, but we accidentally walked 14.5k exploring the town! The local people paraded through the streets at midday to celebrate Palm Sunday - accompanied by men playing the bagpipes (we don't understand why). We then collected our posh pilgrim certificates before lunch and then strolled through the park and saw the sights. We will be disappointed to get back to the U.K. where you don't get free food with every drink you buy!Baca selengkapnya
