    Had lunch, walked around Denmark and the river mouth. A visit to Denmark Good Food Factory and the Chocolate Factory and bought some yummy goodies.

    Our base for 3 nights to explore the Walpole region. Really nice and quite caravan park on the beach and surprised it’s still WA school holiday period.

    Spent a couple hours here. Had lunch at the local bakery and walked around this timber mill town. Then we did a quick walk in Gloucester National Park to get up close to the giant karri trees. We wanted to try the treetop aerial adventure but it was booked out.Read more

    We had an amazing busy 5 weeks in Sydney/Hervey Bay celebrating Christmas with our beautiful families and friends. Arrived back to Busselton in 39 degrees heat and then out to Vasse Lawn Farm to retrieve our vehicles out of storage and setup camp here. The last couple days has been stocking up on supplies. We had managed to do a nice walk around Amelia Park, which is WA’s premier racing, breeding and training facilities.Read more

    Stayed at Vasse for 4 nights and leaving the caravan/car here for a month. Flying home on 21 Dec to be with our beautiful families for Christmas and return back to WA at the end of January 2025 to carry on our adventures.Read more

    Cape Leeuwen Lighthouse tour - tallest lighthouse in Australia mainland where two oceans meet at the most south-westerly point in Australia. The only place in the world where you can see two oceans and two rivers meet at the same time! Walked along Blackwood River each day which we saw abundance of dolphins, stringrays and pelicans. Visited Jewel Caves, bike rides around town and a few nice pub dinners. Really love this windy sleepy town with an amazing coastline, I wish I owned a beach house here.Read more

  • Hamelin Bay - WA

    Nice campsite in bush setting and a 200 m walk to the beach. Met the local stingrays and James fed them some fish while I kept my distance. Visited more wineries in the Margaret River region and coffee tastings with Andrew, Leanne and the kids. Each day we saw stunning sunsets over the bay.Read more

  • Busselton - WA

    Stayed at Busselton Jetty Foreshores for a week which is a great location. Beautiful place day and night and lots of things to see and do. Most days we walked on the longest jetty in Australia and rode our bikes around town. This weekend Busselton is holding the 20 years Western Australia Ironman event and there are lots of people here at the moment. Leaving tomorrow and heading to Hamelin Bay and then to Augusta.Read more

    Stayed 4 nights, fantastic cycle and walking tracks to explore Bunbury. Saw amazing sunsets, beaches and dolphins each day. Visited Taffys Candy store and watched how salt water taffys are made.

    Coogee beach was a great base for us to sight see Perth. We did all the tourist things, like, the Perth Mint, Perth Zoo, Kings Park, Botanical Gardens, Cottesloe and Scarborough beaches and Fremantle Prison night tour etc. We caught up with Jan, Andrew, Leanne and the kids and ate out at various cafes and restaurants.Read more

    Really well kept heritage buildings everywhere, which we love. Visited Maritime Museum and saw Alan Bond’s yacht that won the America’s Cup for Australia. We did some yummy food tasting in Fremantel market. Caught up with friends. Following day we visited the Shipwreck museum, walked up along the foreshores and had lunch at Kailis fish market café. A couple days later we did the Fremantle Prison night tour which was quite enjoyable.Read more
