My car is checked and roadworthy approved, I packed up most of the things already, I lit a last fire for Steph.
I feel sad about leaving his ark, his paradise.. But I'm also glad to go.. I hope to have a safe and beautiful trip and then get some rest to start grieving and think about how to go on.. 💔
And I'll take him with me everywhere I go..
Floki knows things are happening and he is a bit anxious.
Tomorrow I'll pack the last things and then I have 2 moms coming to send us off 🖤Lue lisää

So I leave.. 10 minutes later my car fails and I can't do more than 80km/hour... FML
Now back at the garage waiting for the mechanic to check what's wrong now...

I tried to rest but when I close my eyes it's just horror... So I just stayed at this truckstop for an hour but I'm going again... 2 more hours and I will be in Austria..

I'm here.. I'm exhausted.. What a trip! These Hungarians and Serbians were getting on my nerves! They can't drive!! No offense..
Anyway.. I landed.. Tomorrow I'll take all the stuff out of the car and whatever..

Sleeping beauty

I think I really needed some sleep.. Slept for 11.5 hours..
I've unpacked my car, shorted out my plug for my power box 🙈, connected my starlink router for internet and chilled a bit in the sun which was nice.
Today I will find a spot for all my stuff and probably tonight I'm going to do some work and then more sleep for me after a nice shower I think..Lue lisää

My sweet host Rada was called by the neighbors this morning very early that she had to come to discuss a problem. Apparently Floki is the problem.. These people here think because he is huge that he is also aggressive and dangerous. Rada told me that these neighbors have poisened big dogs before... Obviously this is stessful for me because Floki is like my kid and I don't want to lose him too..
Luckily there is a solution to the problem.. There is another house 3 hours or so away from here.. It is very secluded and there is a bigger piece of land where Floki can actually run around (after I have checked if the gates are safe). So tomorrow Rada is going to take me there and I can stay there for how long I need.. She is so sweet and she told me she is not going to abandon me ever so she told me not to worry.. ♥️Lue lisää

The house in the mountains where we were supposed to go today is flooded..
So it has to dry first and then the damages need to be repaired...
But there is a bigger house near here where I can stay until there is better gates here for Flook...
I'm just stressed.. Can't find my place..

Tomorrow Milan will come to pick me up and show me one of his houses where I can stay with Floki if I want. Rada and Jurgen and Milan are so sweet to really want to help me.
Because I was filled with stress I decided to draw a bit to calm the mind.. That did help, so maybe I need to make that a daily habbit..Lue lisää

House shopping

Milan picked me up today to go look at the apartment he has underneath his house where I can stay if I want. It needs to be cleaned but he will do that if I want to stay there.
Next he showed me a house that he bought recently and it is awesome! It needs to be renovated and looks like one of those haunted houses now.. It's absolutely awesome! I said I would love to stay there but he hasn't got all the documents yet so he will have to see what he can do and maybe I can stay there in 1 or 2 months... I would love that actually..
After checking out the houses we went for some late lunch at Ikea. I wasn't supposed to tell anyone cause he was a bit embarrassed taking me for a shitty lunch (his words not mine) but there you go.. I don't care.. The Swedish meatballs were fine for me..

Mostly working today. Milan is coming over with food today, still waiting.. He said lunch, but I think it's the language barrier.. Cause it's 17.17 now and I haven't seen any food 😂

Today we went to check out the big house to see which part I would like to use. So I decided on a bedroom. Tomorrow Milan and me will go cleaning it and making it ready for me to live in and then maybe Monday or Tuesday I can move in depending on how fast we clean and get everything ready.
I'm so glad because I was standing outside there and there is almost no sound... No barking dogs, no neighbours that want to poison Floki... Just Milan on the other side of the road to feed me 😂 😂 😂 😂Lue lisää

Because of the language barrier between Milan and me (I don't speak Serbian he speaks a little English) I thought I was moving in the house yesterday but he looked at me like I was crazy 😂
So it's going to be Friday at the latest.. So now every day we're going to the house to make it a bit better and hopefully things are ready soon (heating sorted, bed sorted).
I'm tired of all the cleaning up I did yesterday.. Maybe I need some more sleep..Lue lisää

Ofcourse moving day was postponed again and then again... But yesterday I had enough and I was very clear that the postponing needs to stop. I mean I am very accepting when things need to be done and it's going to be a week, but don't tell me tomorrow every single day..

I have arrived... Made the bed.. Cleaned.. And lit some candles.. Milan installed the climate control yesterday and today he installed another heater. After dinner at his and Milica's house he put in a wall for the stairs to the attic so the heat doesn't go up anymore. Now the room is getting a nice temperature and I am starting to feel happy and relaxed...Lue lisää

Start of new chapter

First of december, the start of a new chapter.. I've been working all day in my new place and it was good. I have some problems with the wifi and there is hot water but no shower yet, but there is a bathtub.. But who cares I am used to being on the road and having no shower or hot water.
I feel better in this house and now I think I will finally get the peace I needed so badly to grieve the greatest loss of my life... 💔Lue lisää

Walking day

Milan got me some shoes so I can walk in the clay ground because I didn't want my good shoes to get disgusting..
So today Floki and me went for a nice walk on Milans land... I didn't know where I was going but we walked for 1,5 hours just wondering around enjoying the views and we didn't see anyone.. I love it so much! Also no dogs, just a pheasant was very startled by us so he suddenly flew away causing Floki to freak out a bit, but it didn't take long for him to calm down again..

Big walk today

Today I went for a big walk with Floki and took some nice pictures again.. At one point there was a man making fire.. He didn't even notice me and I didn't know if I was supposed to be there.. Maybe I was tresspassing 😬
Anyway here is also a picture of the shoes Milan got me for Chantal... But today I went for a walk in my new rainboots that Milan also got me... Maybe tomorrow a picture of those 🤭Lue lisää
