A spectacular day - the sun was out and it was a lovely easy walk [except for one muddy scramble over a headland between beaches] It was so nice to take our shoes off and walk barefoot on the sand.
Another beautiful sunny day, starting with some rolling hills and ending at the beach. We enjoyed cooling off with a swim and now looking forward to a rest day tomorrow.
A nice relaxing day with catching up on a bit of admin, eating some delicious food and not very much walking.
A nice easy walk to Boo [did I scare you?] de Pielagos. Had another lovely shared meal with other pilgrims from our Albergue.
An overcast day but nice for walking. We ended up in Santillana Del Mar - a beautiful medieval town, where there was also a festival happening.
Another rainy day for us, but luckily it was mostly just light drizzle. We have now dried off and are hoping for some sunshine tomorrow!

Another lovely 22km day of walking. We had our first glimpse of the Picos de Europa from the church above our albergue as we departed San Vicente de la Barquera this morning. Arriving at the beach inLäs mer
A beautiful walk along the coast today. Overcast for most of the day and a bit of drizzle to start, but spectacular sights and coastline along the way.
ResenärLaredo looks like a beautiful town! Dry out and rest today? 🤞
