    Staying in the village today. There was a big festival yesterday. Part of the festival was sacrificing 200 goat.
    There was traditional music and dancing and not forgetting the hospitality

    Nagadaha -2 giddae, Sujam’s village

    We arrived at the village eventually the four-wheel-drive, needed a repair, putting use behind by two hours. then because of the heavy rain the four-wheel-drive got stuck in the mud so we ended up having to walk up a hill.
    With me being the first tourist in the village there was a small ceremony.

    Another day in Kathmandu

    Today in Kathmandu, on a very dusty and got day, we went to Patan, Seayambhu temple and Monkey temple
    Not to many people at each place but the traffic was horrendous

    Chandragiri Hill

    Went up to Chandragiri Hill via cable car. Went to temple
    Hoping to get a good view of Kathmandu, but with the pollution we could not see anything. So no photos today

    Another day in Katmandu

    A hot polluted day walking around Kathmandu, went to the Pashupatinath temple today. It's where the Hindu bodies are cremated. It is massive.
    apparently when Nepal had covid the army had to put 3 or 4 bodies on top of each other to burn, there were so many.

    Off we go on our first day of our 14 day trip around Nepal.
    Our first stop was Manakamana temple. Which was on top of a mountain 1 hour up and another 1 hour back. On an of road track.

    Ghandruk

    We are now at a place called Ghandruk. We are here to get some really good views of some snow caped mountains.
    But I'm sorry to say there is low cloud and raining. We are hoping the the weather is better tomorrow.
    Getting to this village was a hard job. The road was blocked of due to an avalanche. So we had a very hard 3/4 hour walk    Read more

    Mustang

    We are now her Mustang, I think today's car ride was the hardest. There was also a landslide which up us behind again.
    Mustang is almost dessert, so it's very dusty

    Mustang day two

    Was such a beautiful clear day with lots of mountains around the valley with snow. we went up to a Mukti Kshetra, which literally means the 'liberation arena' (moksha) temple over 3830 metres high and it was also a long walk to the temple.
    on the way back there was yet another landslide had to wait almost 2 hours for it to be cleared then when we got down the car broke down. A very interesting day    Read more

    Just arrived at Butwal. It was a very long journey.
    Because the car broke down before we got to Pokhara.
    the journey took almost 12 hours.

    Lumbini

    Went to Lumbinī today. The Birthplace of the Lord Buddha. Is a Buddhist pilgrimage site , to have a look at the numerous Buddhist temples from around the world
