We started in the village of Glencolmcille and then we went on a beautiful cliff top walk with incredible ocean views
An Port lies at the end of a narrow, winding road and is around 15km / 10 miles from Glencolmcille. We had an eventful journey with sheep and a pig on the way to this wild and windy quay
The road hugs the wild coastline. The Wild Atlantic Way has epic landscapes and natural beauty. It was very refreshing to feel the sea air blowing in our faces.
We had a stunning, windy and challenging walk across boggy peat areas. The weather changed intermittently between sunshine and windswept rain. It was exhilarating and amazing views.
