    Windsor Castle 🏰🇬🇧👑

    Welcome to the Royal Castle!! 👑👑 This castle was a lot of fun, the lines we waited in here felt like we were waiting for a ride at Disneyland, it was just as worth it!! 😁😁 We started our visit off here by seeing some of the famous Royal guards marching in formation, very cool!!! 💂🏻‍♀️💂🏾‍♀️we then proceeded to tour through the castle, where we were not allowed to take “photographs”, so we took an incognito video to show you some of the interior of the castle (loopholes for the win 😉😂), so please don’t judge our photos from the inside 😅😂 while we couldn’t capture everything in our videos, including the sheer beauty of this castle, it was amazing what we saw inside!! There was amazing pieces of armor, medieval weaponry fanned out into beautiful works of art, breathtaking tapestries, gorgeous craftsmanship in the architecture and design (even down to the doorknobs), and a lot of gold!! 😁 after leaving the castles, we got some traditional English biscuits (cookies), outed Kayla as a hater in front of some Brits (you can ask us this story 😂😂) and got some delicious ice cream before leaving the castle!!! 😁🏰 All in all, an amazing day spent at the home of the royals, Windsor Castle!! 👑💂🏻‍♀️🏰Читать далее

    Changing of the Guard…. Maybe 😂💂🏻‍♀️

    We may have accidentally ran into the changing of the guard ceremony 😂 we got off the train by Buckingham palace and we were trying to make our way to our hop on hop off bus when we ran into a throng of people, like Disneyland parade throng crazy 😂 our best assumption was that since it was around 11 am it was the daily changing of the guard ceremony, but we honestly have no idea 😂 All we can say is there were a lot of royal guards and a crazy hoard of people around the gates!!     Big Bus - Hop on Hop Off Tour 💂🏻‍♀️

    Today we started by hopping on a bus and driving around downtown London to see the most famous sights! We saw everything from Trafalgar Square which celebrates the English win over Napoleon, Victoria’s Tower which houses Big Ben (the biggest of five bells which rings on the hour), the beautifully detailed Houses of Parliament, the massive London Eye, the iconic Tower Bridge, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and soooooo much more!!! 🤩🤩 The bus was a great way to see things and we could get off to explore!

    One of today’s highlights was having INDONESIAN FOOD!!! 😋🤤🇮🇩 It was delicious we had nasi goreng (fried rice), sate ayam (chicken skewers), tempe goreng (fried soybeans), and rendang (Indonesian beef curry). Even though the food was absolutely delicious, the best part was seeing how happy Hunter was when he was talking to the servers! 🥹🥰    Читать далее

    Westminster Cathedral 🕊️

    Okay so when we walked inside, we definitely thought it was an Orthodox Church because of the facade, but it was a Catholic cathedral!! 🤯 This cathedral was SOOOOO different from the other cathedrals we have seen mainly because it was made of bricks and marble rather than the classic stone most cathedral are made of!!     London Eye 🎡 + Southbank Wharf 😁

    We made it onto this iconic Ferris wheel, the London Eye! 🎡🤩 It was amazing, the views of London, especially Big Ben and Parliament were stunning!!! And all we can say is that the weather showed up for us, it was a little humid, but the skies were beautiful!! 😁 While being up that high made us both nervous, it was totally worth it!! 🤩

    After our adventures on the London Eye, we took a walk down the wharf to get some food!!! 🍽️😋 We started off with some delicious frozen yogurt from SNOG 💋😁 It was super good!! Our next stop was a place called “Between the Bridges”, which ended up being your classic 2000’s beach party hangout with loud music, alcohol, vape smoke everywhere, Wimbledon, food trucks, questionable life decisions, and just an all year party spot for kids our age!! 😂😂 the food from there was delicious, however, we didn’t stick around for the party scene 😉😂 All in All our adventure on the wharf was SO much fun!! 🤩🤩    Читать далее

    Big Ben and Parliment 🕰️👨‍⚖️

    After exploring the wharf we had some time to kill before our final adventure of the night! 😁 We decided to make our way across the bridge from the Eye to take pictures in front of Big Ben and the beautiful Parliament building (both of which we were not able to secure spots for because they were closed 😭) Despite that, we made the best of our time there and all we can say is THE SKY SHOWED UP!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 We hope you enjoy our photos just as much as we do because WOW!! 🤩🙌🏻Читать далее

    Jack the Ripper Tour - Whitechapel 🔪🪦

    We welcome you to our grand event of the day, the JACK THE RIPPER TOUR 🪦 🔪😱 This may not be the traditional honeymoon tour, but for anyone who knows Kayla and I, this is the perfect tour for us 😉🤩 On this tour we earned our title, RIPPEROLOGIST!! 😅😁 which means we are official Jack the Ripper experts now!!

    This tour transported us back into the streets of Whitechapel in the year 1888 when the infamous serial killer Jack the Ripper was roaming the streets!! 😱🔪 On this tour we learned the chilling history of the 5 gruesome murders of Jack, the stories behind his victims, and the history of Whitechapel at that time!! 😀 We learned where the word “hang-over” came from, it literally meant to hang over a rope so that you didn’t choke and die on your vomit from drinking too much alchohol (which was the leading cause of death in Whitechapel at the time) 😬😬 we learned about some of the leading conspiracies of the identity of Jack the Ripper, the most interesting one being that it was the Chief of police with ties to the Free-Masons and royal family 👮🏻‍♂️😳👑 Our tour guide, Tom, absolutely made the tour!! His way of signaling our move to the next location, or “changing the scene”, was to pop open his umbrella in a theatrical way, it was very entertaining!! 😁😂 Tom was a historian, who by his words did his 6 months working for the government, decided it was boring, and told his parents he quit his job to tell stories, they were not amused 😂😂 this tour was a lot of fun, we would totally recommend it to anyone looking for a fun night in London!! 🤩    Читать далее

    Kensington Palace Fashion Exhibit!! 🏰

    So today we went to Kensington Palace, where 4 royals lived, including Princess Diana! We expected it to be more like Leeds Castle (traditional palace/castle) when we went inside, but they had an exhibit going on that showed the fashion of the Royal court throughout the years compared to the fashion of the Red Carpet. It was a little random, but super cool to see the things people actually wore back in the day as well as seeing the dresses and suits that celebrities like Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Billy Porter, the Kardashians, and Beyoncé!! We also got to see the Crown Jewels of Queen Victoria, who was born in Kensington Palace, and they were BEAUTIFUL!!!! 😱😍 we got to walk through some of the apartments in the palace, specifically Victoria’s rooms, and learned a lot about her life! Overall, it was a great and super unique experience! And the best part is, we both matched the interior of most of the palace so we fit right in hahaha!! 😅Читать далее

    Dinner and a Show 😉😁

    After our visit to Kensington palace we were HUNGRY 🍽️😫 after asking what we wanted for lunch we both agreed that we needed Indonesian food AGAIN!!! 😂😂 we made our way to Nusa Dua, the Indonesian restaurant in Chinatown, ordered our delicious fried rice, tempe, and kurupuk!! 😋 let’s just say, this time was even better than the last!! 😋🤩 After leaving the Indonesian place full and happy we went for a walk around the area only to find this amazing acrobatic street performer, his show was amazing and we have a video of almost the entire show, but we had to get the final trick in there for you!! 😁 He was an amazing guy from Japan and he was HILARIOUS, he had the crowd dying of laughter 😂 following our show we went and got some ice cream (no photos unfortunately), then proceeded to get on the train where we ran into Spider Man playing the piano, this city keeps us on our toes 😂😂 it was an amazing day!! 🤩Читать далее

    Tower, Bridge, and Delicious Food!! 🏰🍽

    Today was our Tower of London and Tower Bridge day 😁It was so much fun being at these two sites, the castle was amazing, we enjoyed our time spent there! Tower Bridge, which was right next to the Tower of London, was beautiful!! After visiting these two locations we decided to go get some lunch at a place Kayla had been wanting to take us called Wagamama, it was delicious!!! 😋 She got a curry rice bowl and I got spicy steak ramen bowl, they both super good!! We then just explored around London looking for souvenirs, making our way to this delicious Italian restaurant called IL Bebo!! 😁 It was delicious as well, and the lady who runs the place it a fun Italian lady!!     Hunter’s late birthday surprise 🧙🏻😮🤯

    Sooooooo I had been planning this for a while, but in order to celebrate hunter’s birthday, we went to Warner Bro’s Studios for the Harry Potter movies filming set!!! 🤩🤩 We had to meet downtown and then we took a bus to the filming studio and got to tour the different sets and see the different costumes and designing tools! It was honestly SO cool and Hunter looked like a kid on Christmas looking at the different sets and movie magic!! 🥰🥹 BUT THE BEST PART WAS DEFINITELY THE BUTTERBEER AND THE TANKERS THEY CAME IN WHICH WE GET TO KEEP!!!! 🤩🤩 There will probably be a few posts for how many pictures we took haha, so we hope you enjoy our last day in England!Читать далее
