Seattle

Our first stop in the US was Seattle - the city in the north that is supposed to be rainy and cold. Well, we got super lucky and had awesome warm weather - even to warm to sleep at night 😅. Two days we explored the city, seeing the (very disgusting) Gum Wall, Pike Place Market, the eldest and first Starbucks and the Space Needle. Finishing our „Seattle-trip“ with a picnic-dinner at Kerry Park and an amazing view of the city. Some drinks with our roommates from the hostel at a bar and we were ready to leave for our road trip the next day.

Unser erster Halt in den USA war Seattle - die Stadt, die man aus Grey’s Anatomy und Twilight kennt und die bekannt ist für ihr regnerisches und kaltes Wetter. Nun ja, letzteres nicht bei uns! Wir hatten Mega warmes und sonniges Wetter - so warm, dass man nachts kaum schlafen konnte 😅.
Knapp zwei Tage hatten wir Zeit Seattle zu erkunden. Wir sahen die sehr ekelhafte Gum Wall, den Pike Place Market, den ältesten und ersten Starbucks sowie die bekannte Space Needle. Anschließend nahmen wir ein vorzügliches „Picknick-Abendessen“ im Kerry Park mit toller Aussicht auf die Stadt zu uns und rundeten den Aufenthalt ab mit ein paar Drinks mit unseren Zimmergenossen aus dem Hostel.
