I’m a senior at Stevenson High School, I enjoy cheerleading and going to cheer competitions. Some values that drove my interest to go to Colorado are loving nature and caring about the Earth.

    Last Day in Boulder

    Boulder was an amazing experience. I had gotten to see parts of nature I had never seen before,and I got a glimpse of what college life is really like. I wish I could spend more time exploring such a beautiful city to truly gain insight about all of the possibilities Boulder offers, but the three days I spent in the city were indescribable.Read more

    I went to Flagstaff Mountain, one of Boulders most famous skiing mountains. i don’t like to ski, however, so I took a hiking tour instead. After the 10 mile trial I was lead on, I went to Sushi Zanmai, one of the city’s highest rated restaurants. I really enjoyed the mountain hike because I really felt one with nature, We don’t have mountains in Illinois so I️t was very cool it be able to see such grand sights.Read more

    Boulder and it’s History (Day 3)

    While staying in Boulder, I learned that Boulder was the first home to the Native American tribe Southern Arapaho, and was founded by gold miners in the 1800’s. Boulder is known for its college life and great ski hills, and is often a vacation spot for many advid skiers.Read more

    My first day in Boulder, I went to go tour the University of Colorado Boulder campus. I loved the scenery and some of the divisions the school had to offer, but it’s avery expensive school and it’s a little far away from home for my liking. I then went to The West End Tavern for dinner, where I had a delicious hamburger and got a taste of what student life is like, due to how close the restaurant is to campus.Read more

    Why Colorado? (Day 1)

    I went to Colorado to fall in love with more nature. I often find that nature calms me down and really allows me to connect with who I am, and because orlo Radom is known for it’s beautifyl mountains, It seemed like the perfect place to go. I am traveling alone, staying in the Residence Inn in Boulder and renting a car to help me get around.Read more
