Veracruz

In Veracruz we celebrate the birthday of Simon. Enjoying beach time, eating out and just wondering around the town. Veracruz didn't feel like a place where we would come back, but it was nice to get some rest.
At some places you could already see some Christmas lights, but it's really weird for us as the weather is so hot, it doesn't feel like Christmas time at all.Read more

This place we visited just because it was on the way. Through one guy we met Sandi, who was our great guide and showed us many beautiful waterfalls around. We went for a tour with her motorcycle. We also got to know her family and had dinner with them.Read more

Catemaco

In Catemaco we just made a small stop during our way to Coatzacoalcos. This town is very famous for witchcraft, but because of the rain, we didn't see a single witch there.

This place was little bit like ghost town. Many places had to close because of a lot of corruption in there. Luckyli we had really nice couchsurfing which made our experience nice. We went together to ecological centre and took a tiny tour on kayaks with his friends.Read more

Villahermosa

In Villahermosa we could see a lot of wild animals in park, also crocodiles that were in the lake in the middle of the town. We had great couchsurfing again with Faby and Isaac.

Bacalar

To Bacalar we had two longest hitchhiking, 570km in 11hours with just two cars.
Bacalar has beautiful lagune of 7 colors. We stayed with Andrés and went with him and many friends to enjoy time by the lake. Next day we borrow kayak and spend almost all the day exploring lake, islands and cenotes.Read more

Tulum

About Tulum we were little bit sceptical, because it's very busy touristic area. But thanks to couchsurfing experince with Oscar we had really nice time. We went to the beach and also visited two cenotes, one of them was private just for us (thanks to other guy from couchsurfing which work there as an architect). We also went out after long time to dance some salsa.Read more

Puerto Morelos

We got back where our travel in Mexico started. We stayed with other couchsurfer but met with Chester (our first couchsurfer in Mexico). We enjoyed time on the beach and went for snorkeling, where we could see coral reefs, many different kinds of fish and even a ray. We also went for bouldering after long time, where we ealized how weak we got during traveling.Read more

Medellín

New country and new adventure is coming...
Medellín is our first destination in Colombia. We are staying at Taby's beautiful house and we will celebrate Christmas together also with Butti and other friends. It's gonna be first time celebrating Christmas with 25°C.

Chorro de Las Campanas

One beautiful day with friends surrounded by nice nature. Little bit hiking, climbing and swimming was the best combination. In the end we went for yummi lunch in vegetarian restaurant.

Jardín

Jardín was a beautiful small town with many coffee farm. We tryed many different types of coffee, explored tiny shops and enjoy the nice atmosphere there. We also camped for the first time in our new tent.Read more

Cueva de los Guácharos

Great almost 20km hike through the mountains. The path was sometimes hard to follow, we had to cross river few times and climb up but the view to the waterfalls was spectacular. We went with friend Naty and her tiny dog Viento.Read more

In Bogotá we had a great time thanks to Vanesa and her family. We celebrate Silvestr with them on a traditional family party. We went together for a hike to Monserrate and explore the town.

Workaway Posada las Montañas del Edén

Right now we will stay for almost two weeks at finca of Carlos. It's a beautiful place 3 hours from Bogota at the area where are almost no turist. We work here for 5 hours a day in exchange of food and accommodation. Right now we mostly build a small paths. Carlos is really nice and friendly guy, we can also practice a lot of Spanish and rest from moving place to place.Read more

Hiking around Gachalá

Free days at weekend we used for going for small trip to Gachalá where was a festival with many horses and drunk people on them. :D Later we hiked for two hours to a beautiful place on the mountain with a view on the dam. There we build the tent under the roof so we were well protected from the rain which came in the night. Next day we walked back to the town and come back to the finca with a ferry.Read more

Raquira, Santa Sofía, Villa de Leyva

Visiting small villages around Tunja, on the way we hithiked Ivan which took us to more villages around. Raquira is capital of artesanias, in Santa Sofía was very nice church and Villa we got really yummi lunch and desert called Mil Ojas.Read more

On the way to Bucaramanga we passed beautiful place called Canyon Chicamocha. Bucaramanga is not really nice town but we had really nice couchsurfing experince with Deisy and her family.

From Bucaramanga we took a small trip to El Ensueño where we went with Ivan, who we met through couchsurfing. After that we went to Girón where we ate typical dessert caled Maracumix (maracuya with ice cream and condensed milk :P).Read more

To Santa Marta we got by bus in the night. The buses are very comfortable and we could sleep really well. In Santa Marta we stayed with couchsurfing again, but this time the experince was not that interesting. We explore Santa Marta and next day we went to Park Tayrona.Read more

National Park Tayrona

In Parque Tayrona we enjoyed beautiful nature. This Park is very popular and can be very busy. As we entre by not so popular entrance first day we met just few people and could enjoy silence and listen the sound of jungle, we also saw some monkeys and many birds. Next day was little bit more busy but we continued to one hidden area where we didn't met a single person and could enjoy beautiful views on the sea. The only disadvantage of the park is it's expensive entrance.Read more

Palomino

Palomino is place with very special atmosphere. Through hitchhiking we got to know guy which is working a lot with indigenes people so we could meet them for the first time. After long time we spend one night in hostel where we could meet some other travelers and enjoy also some time sharing our experiences from the journey. We also enjoy time on the beach and eating out. Next night we spend in our tent at the place of one friend we met there.Read more
