    Spent the day in Richmond at dig site one and then at Kronosaurus Korner a museum with a really good display of dinosaur fossils. Jenson and Evie loved it I know have a bag full of fossilised fish and poo.Read more

  • Starlight lookout

    Named for the fictional bush ranger based of the real one who used this lookout to help steal over 100 cattle before moving them to south Australia the first European to move along the route he used.
    It was a climb Jenson managed it like some kind of mountain goat. I was terrified.

    This is the tree of knowledge under which the Australian Labour Party was founded, and a memorial for the Shearer’s strike which started the ball rolling on the formation of that party.

  • Kaputar National Park

    Unfortunately Covid restrictions pushed us south sooner than planned and will end our holiday tomorrow instead of Friday. However we found the beautiful Kaputar National Park in NSW and while very cold we have enjoyed some scenic walks to the summit of Mt Kaputar and a really pretty nature walk in a loop around our camp site.
    The wild life here are also pretty fearless with a Kangaroo and her Joey spending an extended time close to us.
