    Yarn museum, Deloraine

    This is definitely one of the must visit places. The artworks are stunningly beautiful. You have to sit through the 30 minutes long commentary in the museum. This commentary will give you an amazing insight into the hard work that has gone into creating the artworks.

    There is also a museum in the same place which will give you a look into history.    Les mer

    King Solomon's Cave

    We wanted to go to Mole Creek from Westbury. It's an hour drive but really well worth the visit. There are 2 caves in the Mole Creek Karst National Park. The show caves Marakoopa Cave and King Solomon's Cave, have attracted tourists since the 1850s. There are 2 rivers in the Marakoopa Cave. It's not a long walk but there is so much packed into the 45 minutes trip. You have to book early.Les mer

    Silhouette trail

    The Silhouette Trail is an ideal way to see Westbury Village. An easy walk through the village that follows metal sculptures depicting famous characters from this area. It takes about an hour. Also look out for the very colourful benches all along the way.Les mer

    Melita Honey Farm

    On the way to the 3 Willows Vineyard we stopped at this delightful shop. I have never seen anything like this before. The variety was mind boggling. You can taste most of the honey before buying. The ice cream was delicious. Go for the leatherwood honey ice cream.Les mer

    3 Willows Vineyard

    Coming back home to Hobart today. The platter at 3 Willows Vineyard was one of the best we ever tasted. Very big, very balanced and very well designed. If you are around that area, this should be one of the places you visit.

    Well, now having lunch and then back home.
