    January 28 in the Netherlands ⋅ 🌧 5 °C

    Last stop is Amsterdam!
I have a little bit more than 3 1/2 hours to wait here.
The flight from Singapore here was going well! I actually managed to sleep a few hours and that's really nice! 😊
So hopefully I am not going to be too exhausted for the rest of the day.

    January 27 in Singapore ⋅ ⛅ 31 °C

The flight to Singapore was going very good!
I watched quite a few movies to stay awake so I am may be able to sleep on the next flight to Amsterdam!
I had 4 hours in Singapore and of course, I used the time to get a free foot massage as usual. 😊
I also walked a lot and tried to prepare myself for the next flight, almost 14 hours! 🙈😬Read more

    Christchurch Airport

    January 27 in New Zealand ⋅ ⛅ 23 °C

Today is my last day. It's really nice weather, sunny and no clouds at all! But it's blowing like hell.
After a calm morning at the campground, I went to the beach one last time but I had to sit in my car enjoying the view because it was blowing way too much to sit on the beach. 😂
Around 12 o'clock I had to leave my car and everything was going fast as always with GoRentals! Really satisfied again with this company! 👍🏼
They drove me then to the airport.
First stop will be Singapore and it will take around 10 hours there.
I had a nice view over Christchurch and parts of New Zealand while we were flying over it! Gonna miss the country and people I can say!
And the nice weather!! I am not ready for winter now 🙈😂

    January 26 in New Zealand ⋅ ☁️ 13 °C

I went to the Gondola then. Was first thinking about walking all the way up but didn't feel so energetic and they told me it is a quite steep walk up the hill. 🙈
So I drove up with the Gondola to the top of the mountain from where you have an awesome view over Christchurch and the Banks Peninsula! Unfortunately, it was quite cloudy but it was anyway worth it!
I was then walking down to the carpark again! Took me a little bit less than 1 hour and I am glad I didn't try to walk up I can say! 😂

After that, I went back to the campground. Time to start to pack my bags 😔
Time is flying and tomorrow I am already going home again.

    January 26 in New Zealand ⋅ ☁️ 14 °C

After the morning workout, I went back to Christchurch to take a look at the city. I was walking around there for a while and I actually like Christchurch!
Yes, it's still a lot of damage from the earthquake in 2011 but they are working hard on building up the city again! It's an interesting mix between old and new!
Today is the beer festival here and the city is extremely full and everyone seems to have a good time 😉
I was thinking out also going to the beer festival but decided against it, I simply don't like beer and it was quite expensive as well!

    Adrenalin Forest

    January 26 in New Zealand ⋅ ☁️ 16 °C

After a calm morning and a really good sleep, I needed some action again. 😉
I went a little bit outside of Christchurch to the Adrenalin Forest. Here you can choose from 8 different courses where you can test your limits.
After a short safety briefing, we could decide where w wanted to start. You are allowed to do as many courses as you can within 3 hours. Nr 1 and 2 a very easy, mostly for smaller children, so I decided to start with 3b!
That was a nice one, not too high over the ground and easy to handle and especially good to build up some self-confidence for the next courses.

I then went to number 4! This one was actually challenging but still really much fun! It had a couple of Flying Foxes or Ziplines and these once I really like! 😉
Some parts weren't so easy because I am obviously a bit shorter than the average but I made it, even though I got some blue marks on my arms 😂
    Always keep fighting! 💪🏼😉

After that, I had around 1 hour left so I was first thinking to go to 5b or 6 but then decided that I do course nr 5!
That was a good decision. That course was really hard. I had to use my arms so much that I in between wasn't sure if I gonna make it to the end. 😬
It took me almost 50 min to complete this course and was totally tired in my arms afterward. But I mad it and it was really funny no matter what. 😉

I probably gonna feel my arms the next days, and my stomach for sure as well! It was good training I can say 😉

    Kaikoura Penisula Walk

    January 25 in New Zealand ⋅ ⛅ 16 °C

After a short rest, my stomach was feeling much better and I went back into Kaikoura City for the Kaikoura Peninsula Walk.

It's a really nice walk along the coastline and the weather was really nice as well. Feeling still a little powerless I didn't walk down to the ocean and stayed on the path on top.
I saw anyway a few seals from up there and the view was just awesome. 😊
After the walk, I bought some lunch and had a nice lunch break by the ocean.
Afterward, I headed back to Christchurch.
Didn't do so much more, because I was really exhausted from the last two days and especially two nights with to less sleep so I went to bed quite early.

    Dolphin Encounter Kaikoura III

    January 25, South Pacific Ocean ⋅ 🌙 12 °C

After we were done with the swimming part we followed the dolphins for a while to just watch them from the boat and they were really showing off for us!
They were jumping like hell! 😍
It's incredible what for all kind of different jumps they can do!
So nice to just sit and watch them jumping and it feels like they have fun! No one really knows why the dolphins are jumping, can be a communication thing, a way to itch themselves or just for fun.

And then it was already time to head back to the harbor. Good for me, my stomach wasn't so happy about not eating so much breakfast in the morning and then spent the time on the open sea. 😬🙈

Shortly before we came back to the harbor our skipper said, I think the other boat has spotted some Orcas! What?? 😳
That was nothing I was expecting to see, but there they were! Two Orcas, a mother with her young one by her side! Oh wow, it was so amazing!! 🥰
They were swimming really calm and what was even more surprising was, that there were a lot of dolphins swimming around them. Orcas are predators from dolphins so normally the dolphins are my coming so close to them!

So what shall I say, it was an amazing trip!!!!
Gonna remind this for the rest of my life, that's for sure! 😊

I went them back to the campground to lay down for a while to get my body to rest a bit and then I went for a nice walk!

    Dolphin Encounter Kaikoura II

    January 25, South Pacific Ocean ⋅ 🌙 12 °C

Oh my God, it was so amazing that I don't really know how I should describe it!
There were so many dolphins all around us, coming from all directions that I didn't know where to look first. They are coming so close that I could easily touch them if I wanted to and they really like it when you start to turn around yourself. I played this ”game” with many of them and they are really going to it. Just that they are so much faster then I am 😂
After a while, no idea how long we were in the water they called us back to the boat. The Dolphins started to move away and they wanted to find another group for another swim.

It took them just a few minutes until we were supposed to get ready again.
And this time it was even more dolphins around us. I even saw a couple of young once with their mother. 🥰

I better stop texting because it's anyway gonna be the same 😉
I can just say it was an awesome experience and I so glad I did it!
