    Faravitx lighthouse and talaiotic stone

    1 mai 2018, Espagne ⋅ ⛅ 13 °C

We had a bit of extra time to kill before our flight back so we did a bit more driving and headed over to the Favaritx lighthouse. The drive along the final headland was really dramatic as the scenery suddenly switched from lush green fields with wildflowers to barren slate outcrops and crashing waves. The lighthouse itself has an interesting spiral black stripe on white. It was a bit exposed and rainy so we headed back in the car to the Albufera Es Grau National Park for a brisk boardwalk to the lake before going to see one of the most extensive Talaoitic remains on the island. The standing stone is a symbol on the island and the civilisation dates from 1,000BC. We had time for a quick tea before dropping the car back ready for the flight home.En savoir plus
