Today, we visited St Mary's church, and then the Police Station and Stables followed by a trip to the Mine and associated buildings, and then took a 5 minute drive North to the house that features on the album, Diesel & Dust by Midnight Oil.Read more

Today, we departed Burra, destination Balranald. Not a lot along the way, we stopped in Renmark for morning tea, and then a rest stop for lunch a d collection of firewood, arriving just before the Kangaroos come out to play.
Went for dinner at the Shamrock Hotel in Balranald before going back to Kelly and Mike's caravan for more beverages.
Today, we saw us drive through 3 States. SA, Victoria, and then NSW.Read more

We left Balranald this morning to travel 1.5hrs to Hay for Morning Tea and to say our goodbyes to Kelly and Mike. They are heading home to Qld. They have had to vary their trip yet again to get around the flood waters coming down South from up North.
We travelled just a short way down to Deniliquin as I haven't been before.
We set up camp at a little spot on the Edward River. Great location.
We then, went for a drive soon after arriving to see the sites. There is a lot to see in Deniliquin.Read more

We went to the Depot Historic Collection in Deniliquin this morning. It is a wonderful place well worth the visit. It's such a great collection. As you will see in the photos. We then decided we would drive through to Lilydale to catch up with Eric's sister Bronwyn. We had a short stop for lunch in Yea. We have parked up the caravan and are staying at the unit.
Tonight, we went to Lilydale International for dinner before coming back for drinks.Read more

Eric's dad came over yesterday, and we had a wonderful lunch cooked by Reinhard.
We said our goodbyes to Bron and Reinhard this morning after spending 2 nights with them.
We checked in to Anchor Belle Caravan Park at Phillip Island, set up the van, and then went over to visit Steve & Belinda, took a walk to the beach and later walked to Wooli Tavern at Cape Woolamai for dinner.
It was a great night for a catch-up.Read more

Cowes Victoria, RACV Caravan

Last weekend of our holiday was the RACV Caravan Club Rally.
All the Club members began arriving to 11 am on Friday. We socialised well into the night. Went out site seeing on the Saturday and BBQ Lunch at the foreshore followed by 4zzzz and then dinner at the RSL.
Another very late night back at the camp kitchen.
This morning, we had a late checkout and met up with a few members for lunch at Coronet Bay. After dropping off the caravan and emptying it, we had a very relaxed night at home.
