On our way back from Ball’s Pyramid we were able to see the other side of the island.
The water colours were so vibrant and enticing with the water temperature around 21 degrees Celsius.
We came across a flock of seabirds sitting together on the surface of the ocean which was quite cool.もっと詳しく
Chris, Jen and I walked around to Old Gulch which is a beach full of volcanic stones.
We were hoping to walk around to some beautiful rock pools but the weather was unfortunately inclement.
In any case we were able to observe Black Noddy’s nesting and incubating their eggs.
With no known predators such as snakes and rats 🐀 the chance of survival for each egg is much higher which accounts for the amazing amount of bird life on the island.もっと詳しく
We got up early and had a swim and our obligatory coffee at the Anchorage.
We returned our bikes and then sat on the grassy slope overlooking the lagoon and over to Mt Gower.
