We took the train into Munich and then took the subway to Olympic Park. The 1972 Olympics were held here, and there are many cool structures remaining from that time.

A yr ago, I connected the dots between a couple of LinkedIn posts on KTM, Ducati,... and Strava bike ap to connect to 'Martin', a bicycle rider SW of Munich. I gave kudos for his rides and bulldog walks. Then I noticed on the route map, the town of his starts was 'Tutzing'. I got him to Strava connect by informing him that he lived in a town almost bears my actual last name (not my faster-sounding, Italian alias, Tussinelli :-). A long story to say, hmmmm, are we from Kiel, Germany, or close-by Strausbourg, France, as we thought, ...or SW of Munich?
Reisender Richardâs sister was working at the Munich Olympics Village Cafeteria that year. She sent his parents a telegram letting yhem know she was fine.

Reisender Thatâs what we talked to. We heard that some people commute to work this way we saw people going down with dry bags floating along with them so they could change clothes. Honestly it was not that warm to be doing this.
