    since i started my new job in august, i only worked from home or my boyfriends place (or rarely at the office). but as you might know i have a mobile work contract... since i have a big screen on both places i was wondering how it will work out, when i can only use my laptop screen. i'm especially curious since i will work abroad for over 3 weeks at the ionian sea in november. so this is an experiment... working only with my laptop screen and keyboard for a week. well and for sure i want to visit one of my best friends in göttingen 😉🤣.

    the friend i am visiting here is planning to build a heat storage tank.
    the idea is to use a collector consisting of 15m of hose per square meter to collect solar heat. a total of 6 square meters of collector area is to be created from old windows and black metal plates. the hoses should be filled with coolant, which then transports the heat via insulated hoses and releases it again in two water-filled 1000l canisters - a heat exchanger, in other words. these canisters should be well insulated and then, if necessary, release the stored heat to a second circuit, which also consists of hoses filled with coolant and heats a radiator - a second heat exchanger. i'm curious how this will work out.

    Interim report on mobile working

    today it was very rainy, but that didn't bother me at all, because i was sitting in front of the stove, listening to an audio book and painting. so i took some time for a short recap on mobile work. so here it is: my current headset works great for this, as does my mouse, both can be charged easily and reliably during use without affecting use. there is enough space on the laptop screen if i cleverly organize the windows. one of the best ideas for the past few weeks has been to use a clearly “artificial” background for the meetings - a cow with flowered horns. the effect of this is that there are no irritations for the others, everything seems the same as always. another thing is the chair. in the future, i will start looking for a chair that allows me to move straight away. the idea that a normal chair can be used for more than 4 hours is a bad one. all in all i would say: the experiment was a success - i will use this setup for my mobile work at the ionian sea....Leer más

    i hardly eat pizza - i usually don't like the dough, too thick and too much topping. but today i was too lazy to cook, so i tried „Milano original Holzsteinofen“.
    we were probably the only guests who ate there for a long time, because it looks like the pizzaria usually delivers but i felt very comfortable there between the pizza cards 🤪. the owner is syrian and not only did we have a great chat, i also got a really good italian pizza from syria 😋. maybe i like pizza now… i will think about that 🍕.Leer más
