The flight had departed very slightly late, but we made good time and landed a few minutes early.

After some beautiful and warm weather, it felt kinda similar before we dropped through the clouds into London. But reality set in when we got below the clouds, and the grey was evident.

On the bright side, it wasn't raining (yet)and was actually warmer than expected at 11 degrees. 🤣🥶🙃

Immigration was quick, and when we got to baggage reclaim, I went to the toilet. As u wxited the cubicle, there was an older lady trying to get into the next cubicle, pushing an empty baggage cart.

I mean, these were normal sized toilet cubicles, and there were a gazillion other empty carts, so there was no rational explanation to taking it in the bathroom in the first place, let alone trying to squeeze it into a small toilet cubicle. It is possible, I have now seen everything. 🤯

All the bags arrived, and we got the car and headed home. Drive was quick, and the only downside was the rain as we got close to home.

We picked up Kairi, who was super happy to see us, and after some running around, she relaxed and curled up to snooze. Alongside ahead, who was also snoozing.

Overall, it was a lovely trip, with lots of great parts. Yes, some annoying poorliness, and we're still coughing, but it didn't spoil the trip at all.Læs mere
