Local name for the conch shell used by ancient Chamorro people to call everyone to assemble.
Made from coconuts.. along with baskets made from pandanus leaves.
Island was freed from Japanese occupation in WWII by US and gained it's indepence in 1979.
But first I must draw a bucket of water from a fresh water well.
Not sure when it is activate but definitely not at low tide.
Simple but cool exhibits and artifacts including whale bones and necklaces made out of human teeth.
