Phase 1 farewell

The community put on a beautiful farewell ceremony for the volunteers giving flowers, scarfs and lots of tika.

Took a day trip to some hot springs. They were so good!

Had a big bridge to cross today and had to reroute around an old landslide.

Had to get the team across a dodgy bridge today plus lots of steep up and down. They loved the doughnut reward and the gorge was stunning.

A short day today which gave us time to come together as a team and think about all we have done during trek phase. Great mood in the team and as usual it broke out into dancing

Last day of trek! We had an early start and a very long day but were treated to beautiful sunshine and incredible views. The team were so excited to finish and we had such a good day!

Digging the distribution pipe line

The first task for the phase three group was to help the community members dig a new pipe line to distribute the water to each household.
