    Went through last of stuff stored at Bev and Cliffs and got rid of everything except some photos. Nothing else in storage now. Very freeing feeling

    Otaki to recover

    Stayed in the beach house. Was perfect as it had a ramp so I was able to come and go easily. 🚶‍♀️ What amazing friends. They had even left a car for us to use but as the bus was parked in the driveway the car was parked on the road. During the time it was there some lowlife had broken into it and tried to steal it. 😡🤬Meer informatie

    Sharon at Kenepuru for hip Op

    Sharon in for hip replacement Op. Some complications and she was not discharged till 11/6. Only supposed to have been 3 days. Kathy had set up the bus for me to come back to but our friends Pres and Susie had just purchased a beach home in Otaki and insisted I stay there till I recovered enough to go back on on the bus 🚌 💕Meer informatie

    Awesome views of the mountains along the way.vStayed at camp a couple of nights. The camp is an old helicopter pad. Met Shirley Keane. She also lives permanently in her van.

    Hamilton Motor Home Solar

    Chris from motor home solar fixed the fault on our solar. It kept flicking the switch on the fuse so it wasn't charging. He upgraded the wiring and the fuse to a 50watt fuse. The electrician was there as well so we got our new electrical certificate to 2027 at same time. It was no problem to them 😊Meer informatie

    Rotorua NZMCA # 3093

    We were going to stay in Taupo but the FC looked a bit boggy and the one that was ok had some undesirable looking characters in it so we carried on to Rotorua and stayed at the NZMCA park in Ngongotaha. We wanted to try the "kiwi camp" option for power but therere wasnt any dongles left. Not that we needed power as our power was good. Just wanted to be able to have option in case the need arose once we were on the road. Got a great park anyway and had a good view of Lake Rotorua. The one criticism I would have of NZMCA parks is that they are always a long way from anything. If its really a criticism 🤔. We have our e-scooters though but didnt want to get them out . We have liked all the NZMCA parks so far. 😊Meer informatie

    Stayed at Eriksen and visited faily and friends. Dropped off a few things we didnt need at the camp. Nice camp. Still pretty barren as so new but will be a really good camp in future.

    This was an NZMCA park that was sold to purchase the Napier park. Still same cost as NZMCA $10 for the two of us but add an extra $5 ($15 total) per night and power included. We stayed and used their laundry and relaxed.Meer informatie

    Visit to Aunty Janets

    New cabinet surround for fridge

    Red at Gypsy caravans. The fridge cabinetry has been completed. Yay! No gap for the cold to come in and the bus is warm again. Here's the before and after shots. Gypsy Caravans in Levin (Hayden - Mr Mcgyver) did the work and they are very particular with the finish. I'd recommend them to anyone needing stuff done. Problem is they are sooo busy you have to book way ahead.Meer informatie

    Stayed night here as Red going in tomorrow to get the cabinet done around the new fridge as when we got fridge put in it was bigger than old one and Motor Home Solar didnt do cabinetry. Cossie club is free to stay but like a donation or buy drinks or meal. We did both ( had drinks and a meal) great spot on any weather. Hard ground. Good for large vehicles and specific parking area for motorhomes only.Meer informatie

    Went to get ready for service and to get airbags done. Went to Passo for anniversary dinner. Sharon went to dinner with Bev,Cliff, Nick & Kay as kathy flew to auckland overnight for the Puma shoots

    Stayed and caught up with Mort and Kathy who had just arrived back from Sth Island with tales of great places to visit. Went to dinner at TukTuk waimea with them and Jarred and Barbara
