What a unique town! History dating back to the 1700’s and amazing food like Alsace meat, pretzels, cheese and my favorite, Tartes Falambees. Sooo good.

It’s exhilarating going 200mph!!! Europe high speed trains ROCK!!!!

Paris, France Arrived!!

Finally made it to Paris where we will be for the next 2 weeks! We’re doing lots of day trips and a 2 night trip to Normandy. Excited to see all the set up for the Olympics this July. Wonderful Mother’s Day. Bought a frog memorabilia at a Rummage sale outside our hotel in Montmartre and day trip to, Reims, the champagne capital of the world. Ending with another wonderful flambéed dinner before the 45 minute train back to Paris.Read more

Quick trip to see the place nicknamed “town of a thousand spire” and it’s true to the name. Inspired by the Viking and started in 911, this town has lots of breathtaking Abby’s. It’s also the place where Joan of arc was burned at the stake in 1431.Read more

Wow! What a day… 2 hr high speed train to Caen, pick up our Mini rental car, Caen WWII museum, drive 2 hrs to Mont Saint Michel then dinner at hotel in Avranches, France.

What a cute town!! Would love to spend more than one night here. We stayed at an old hotel with that had a window overlooking the main cathedral. we had a wonderful crêpe breakfast and walked around the shops and through the farmers market. The town is preparing for a big celebration of the 80th anniversary of D-Day . We headed back to Caen to drop off our car, which was quite the experience, to catch a train back to Paris. We meet up with Quentin and Moriah tonight for the last two weeks of our trip.Read more

Ferry from Santorini to Mykonos

What a trip!!!! Blue Star ferry was a cow hearding experience!! A 2 hour ride. The ferry itself was nice but getting on/off was crazy.
