Today things went a little better. Otherwise this city is very loud, stuffy and dirty... there are a noticeable number of homeless people and half the city is a construction site. 😝 it looks as ifLue lisää

Gerade wollte ich schreiben, was für eine tolle und interessante Stadt. Die Fotos sind schon sehr faszinierend aber dann habe ich deinen Kommentar gelesen und der war ein Widerspruch zu meinen Eindrücken… Aber von den Bauten her wirkten die Fotos sehr vielseitig und schön. Aber ich bin begeistert was du bisher alles erlebt hast. Ninette hatte mir erzählt, dass du bald in Berlin bist und ihr euch trefft. Irgendein Konzert? 🤔 Das hat uns sehr gefreut. Oder hatte ich das falsch verstanden? Na egal viele liebe Grüße von mir und auch von Burkhard, liebe Lysann🙋🏼♀️🙋🏻♂️
LysannBestimmt gibt es auch schöne Ecken hier. Aber dafür habe ich zu wenig Zeit und das Wetter spielte such nicht mit. Auffällig waren ganze Straßenzüge von Obdachlosen in Zelten, öffentliche Parks und fast unter jeder Brücke. Genauso traurig ist, dass die Altstadt mit den schönen kleinen Häusern so langsam weicht und neue riesige Wolkenkratzer entstehen. Jep, ich bin zu meinem Geburtstag zu Hause und ich werde mit Ninette nach Karlsruhe fahren zu einem Konzert. 🥳😎🤩 Liebe Grüße aus Kanada ... ich denke Montreal wird besser. 🤭

Yesterday I took the bus, the train, the long-distance train, the metro, the metro and the bus to the next Airbnb. About 580 km. I arrived here safely and I like it a lot. 🤩🏠☀️

I drove about 290 km to Quebec (City) today. With a tour group... we had a city tour and a nice explanation on the way about the history of the city and region. We visited also the Montmorency Falls.

A fantastic old town with small streets, many shops and restaurants, souvenir shops, cafes and street artists. But also very touristy. A really great day.🤩

Yesterday I was briefly on the small island of Sainte Helene here in Montreal. Today I went for a 19 km walk/hike in Mont Saint Bruno National Park.

Today we went on a trip to the Laurentian mountains. The first stop was in Saint Sauveur... for a coffee and a short walk. Then we drove to Lake Saint Joseph, unfortunately in the rain.

Super tollen Tag in Karlsruhe verbracht. Bei 32 Grad nicht gerade einfach, aber wir haben es überstanden. Konzert war wirklich schön und hat damit den Tag perfekt gemacht. 🥳🤗🤩

Waren im Downstairs Comedy Club… kann ich jedem nur empfehlen, sehr gute Künstler und super zentral. Vielleicht nicht gerade bei 30 Grad 🤭.
