Aigas Community Forest is a beautiful community-led conservation woodland in the Scottish Highlands, just a short distance west of Inverness. Covering around 800 hectares, the forest was purchased and is managed by the local community to promote biodiversity, education, and sustainable land use.

Raindrops glazed the cobblestones as the city’s skyline blurred into shades of grey and stone. Ducking under an umbrella, I wandered through the drizzle-soaked Royal Mile and made a quiet stop at the Palestine Museum & Cultural Centre—a powerful, intimate space filled with resilience and stories.
