It was a beautiful morning! And it was wash day. Lucky for us there is a washing machine in the house and a long washing line outside.

Traveler The Dutch Reformed church in Rhodes. The story goes that a Scots Presbyterian Dominee held services for the settlers, alternating English and Dutch services. After the Anglo-Boer war he was so incensed by the British treatment of Boers in the concentration camps that he refused to hold English services ever again.
