Highest point on North Cascades Highway. Reminds us of the White Mountains in New Hampshire, with granite peaks and pines. Elevations are higher than back east though.
Nice little campground in the mountains, with a trail to a creek.
Cute town, but it is 99 degrees. The gas station sells Made in Vermont toys!
Fruit orchards galore! This section of Washington grows about half of the country's apples!
We passed a lot of desert terrain in eastern Washington. I didn't realize the eastern part of the state looks like Utah and Nevada! Then about an hour past Yakima, we found some evergreen forests!Leia mais

Found a nice dispersed camping spot in the national forest right outside north entrance of Crater Lake National Park.
