We had just gone to bed, not yet asleep. We’ve had some pretty windy nights in this campground but this was different. For a few seconds the trailer shook, like a big truck was driving by.

We arrived to Big Bend National Park. Official greeters welcomed us to our campsite. A band of javelinas marched through.

Took a wander around Savannah. Apparently they host the second biggest St Paddy’s day parade in the country. So lots of festivities this weekend and the parade on Monday.

Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel

For 23$, we saved ourselves 3h of driving. We took the 17.6 mile Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. There are two 1 mile long tunnels between the bridges.
