Ghent

Spent the day in Ghent with Peter and Nathalie. Went to the Gravensteen and then a walking tour led by our guide Peter. We apparently had to pay for commentary. 😂
Sint Bernadus 🍻

Spent the day with Steven and Annick. Touring a brewery with a tasting and snacks. Followed by a walk.
Bruges

Spent the day in Bruges. Very spring like with the flowers on the trees starting to bloom and the daffodils out.
Coast tram

Took the coast tram to Westende. Some childhood memories for me from summer weeks spent in the area my dad grew up. 😊

Goodbye to Spain

We had a good 🌞 month in Spain. Only one morning with rain!
Our last day I had a long run to do and afterwards we went to a British pub for a nice Sunday roast. It was delicious!

Alicante

Roman ruins

La Vila Joiosa

Sierra de Olta loop

Altea

Spent the day in Altea. They have a HUGE outdoor market on Tuesday. A really nice old town area to wander up and through. And a nice promenade along the seaside.
Moraira- Coastal walking

Today we took the bus to Moraira. Walked back along the coast back to Calpe mostly on trail. The first few miles were along the road. Then stopped in to a seaside bar for a couple 🍻
Dènia and castle

Took the tram Dènia today. Met a nice couple and chatted along the way there and back.

Benidorm

Spent the day amongst the holidaying Brits in Benidorm. Busy beaches and promenades. Found a nice small British run (since 1985) fish n chip joint. 😋

Barranco Salat

Went for a walk up a ravine and back around to the beach. Pretty cool spot under the bridges that connect Altea and Calpe.

Spend the day in Valencia. Drove part way and then took a commuter train in so Paul didn’t have to navigate double roundabouts with 8 lanes 🤪

Rode the hop on hop off sightseeing bus in Lisbon today. Tomorrow we will do the hop off part.
Passadiços do Alvor

Headed to Alvor with a bit of sunshine.. Windy walk and run along the boardwalk and trails. Had our lunch and headed back to Lagos as the skies opened up ☔️. Sun is back out now.
