Day 126: Exploring the City Center

The next day, we plunged into the hustle and bustle of Thessaloniki. The bus ride into town was cheap and easy once we found the right bus stop.
The city centre is loud, chaotic and smelly, but on the other hand it's also a nice combination of old and new. We found lots of modern buildings built around the ancient sites. There were great markets and lots to discover. The promenade was also a highlight, even though swimming isn't possible there. Czytaj więcej
